DEBORAH VILES
The five members who make up the body of the County Election Commission are tasked with regulating the conduct of all elections by the people. The Commission meets regularly in public meetings on the second Thursday of every month at 2:00 pm. Deborah Viles is a Certified Administrator of Elections and serves as the Administrator for the County Election Commission office.

All courthouse offices are open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm
The Union County Clerk is open on Saturday from 9:00am-12:00pm
DUTIES OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION
- Voter registration
- Conducting all elections
- Maintenance of voter registration files; campaign disclosure records and other records
- State reporting as required
- Upon request, assist the local legislative body with redistricting
